So instead of doing an entire post dedicated to one collection, I’m going to mix it up a bit, I’m doing 2 looks from Vivienne Westwood, Dsquared, and D&G spring/summer 2012 (which is actually its last season for D&G).

So lets kick it off with grandma westwood, even though she’s been around since moses parted the red sea, this brit has some wicked style, I mean the 1st look has summer jet setter written all over it, that jacket is insane (color blocking) the collar is amazing. The pants whatever material they are I could careless, I must have, I have a weakness for any hue of blue, esp. navy blue. And I can’t say much for the shoes only that it ties in the look perfectly, oh and those aviators yea, mine. 

The second look…can you say new yorker in abu dubai? I sure can. That jacket looks like a heavy jersey knit fabric is perfect for spring. That scarf is even color blocking with that pop of orange, ah and loose khaki pants a spring and summer must!

So although grandma westwood is old as dirt itself, she can deliver a hell of a collection

And last but not least D&G which held it’s last independent show last fall will join Dolce and Gabbana for future seasons. 

And if anyone knows style it’s the men behind D&G. D&G is so now and right on spot with trends and menswear. 

The 1st looks Italian man goes to african desert. The print on the shorts out of this world, I’m not a big fan of printed shorts but these give a new meaning, I can’t put my finger on it, they are just insane. The shirt I mean jesus, I’m all about printed shirts, esp. button down shirts. And those shoes/moccasins are my wet dream, sorry about the image but damn that is all. And well that hat is just the cherry of this look along with the shorts, shoes and shirt, hell they are all the cherry. 

Oh sweet sugar mama, an olive linen half button down( not sure on the proper term for that shirt) but damn thats a nice shirt. Again with the printed bottoms, not a big fan, but for D&G I’ll sure reconsider, whoever made that call props to you. Note they aren’t dress pants at all, so don’t think you can pull off a nice oxford or blazer with those pants, I’ll come and hunt you down if you do. They are strictly for playing and lounging around the african sahara in. Those shoes in every color I can assure you. If I had to make some quick cash I can assure you that I would resort to finding a sugar mama or donating blood to afford these looks.

Can you blame me? It’s D&G for the love of all that is known. D&G never fails!
